This seems timely ...after the January arrests (of some directors of Orange Poland and local Huawei branch, under charges of espionage), in two paper/analogue magazines I've read that Huawei actually leads with 5G tech ...but at my place the US pulls strings, and it has the goal of excluding the Chinese from western markets; so the controversy is at least partly protectionism ...especially since western govs don't care much about data siphoned to US by Google or Facebook.

To be honest at this point in my life i have resigned to the fact that no matter what someone is tracking you with my tech toys. That is why I stoped using all but a Desktop computer. and to be Frank about it i think i would rather have my own government spying on me (I do noting that breaks my Local laws any way) than China's Government
