Not a good day for Apple. First, the Australian court has lifted the Australian sales ban on the Galaxy Tab 10.1. Second the Motorola has won an injunction against Apple’s 3G products in Germany. What else is there to say at this point? Software and design patents still suck, even if karma is a female dog.
Apple has no further options for appeal in Australia. They will also be required to pay all of Samsung’s legal costs (Australian courts nearly always award damages to against losing plaintiffs.)
From the BBC article:
Apparently Motorola did seek such an injunction, and a preliminary injunction has been granted.

LOL and what is Apple suing for? Something that’s square and round?
That’s the beauty of design and software patents Each time you hear about a new one, you realize how deep into insanity these get.
motorola patent is basically “use block counter to determine how many blocks left”

I believe his post was ironical.
At least I hope so.
Isn’t 3G covered by FRAND patents? Apple is already paying Qualcomm, it shouldn’t need to pay Motorola.
