You can now run the latest version of Internet Explorer on your Android, iOS, OS X or non-Windows 10 Windows machine. Microsoft has built and released something it calls RemoteIE, which allows developers to run the company’s browser preview builds without requiring them to be on the most current version of Windows.
I now will no longer have to log into Windows to do my front end web testing.
EDIT –
Spoke too soon. Cloud hosted? Damn.

why would you want to infect decent Operating Systems with the plague that is IE?
Ok, a few masochist testers might but for many of us, the sooner that IE is taken out and shot the better.
That said, there is one thing that MS can’t say any longer and that is ‘IE is part of the operating system and can’t be removed’.
If this is a precursor to being able to uninstall IE on future versions of Windows then it might prove some use after all.
I’m sorry did I just step into 2005?
Thank you ‘shotsman’. I AGREE with everything you said. Especially about IE just getting shot already. (LOL!!). Frankly I have always looked at IE as the AIDS/Ebola/Polio/Anthrax/Malaria/Rabies (yes, as bad as all those combined) of the digital world.
