We’re introducing more choice for Moto 360. From new metal watches and a selection of interchangeable bands, to enhanced experiences that promote a healthier lifestyle, Moto 360 offers a diverse portfolio of modern timepieces.
I was on vacation in the US and Canada the past two weeks, and one of the things I wanted to buy there was a Moto 360. I went to Best Buy – the store that sells them – but they were all out. The sales person told me that they get new shipments every week, but that they sell out in minutes. I had no luck finding one.
These new options are only going to make it sell better. I’m very curious to see just how well.
I held off buying one after the reviews all said that the 360 could barely make it through a single day. However, over the last few weeks several Wear updates have been pushed out, and people started reporting dramatically increased battery life.
I bought one last week, and I’m consistently getting 36 hours use, so it easily gets thorough a long day of heavy usage and I stick it on the wireless charger overnight.
Overall I’m very impressed and I won’t be returning it. I actually like the leather band as I find it much more comfortable than a metal one.
Agreed. I have a Moto 360 and battery life has actually been one of the nice points about it. Idk, maybe the reviewers had pre-release software or something. This thing can last a while.
What about the ancient soc in it?
I wait for the day that our wristbands track more than steps taken and try to estimate calories burned.
That day was a long time ago. There are still a lot of devices on the market that are merely stepcounters, but there are also devices that have an abundance of sensors like this: http://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-band
The hardware is basically there. Mass-produced (so affordable and available) and quite polished.
The software is going to be the next step while the hardware gets more refined, cheaper
It seems like Microsoft (HealtVault), Apple (HealthKit) and Android (Wear Health) all have that lined up as well.
…but all I personally want is a nice runtracker.
I like the watch face, but dislike two things:
1. Lenovo
2. The watch band choices are horrid IMO
