Ori is a distributed file system built for offline operation and empowers the user with control over synchronization operations and conflict resolution. We provide history through light weight snapshots and allow users to verify the history has not been tampered with. Through the use of replication instances can be resilient and recover damaged data from other nodes.
After sifting through the C++ code, I started to wonder if this project is a joke.
Then I realized how naming it orifs adds injury to insult.
I mean, a secure fs pronounced orifice?
I think rihno may be on to something. It sure looks like a grad student project that got a paper submitted and then psudo dropped the project. It takes a LOT of work to do a real distributed file system.
Hallowed are the Ori.
I thought of a duck first (ì~¤"e|not).
